Dear St. Amelia Families, Teachers and Support Staff,
Please review our latest COVID update for the week of April 25-29, 2022 Our school nurse, Mrs. Kibler, is able to test, with parent permission, students who exhibit mild symptoms of COVID-19. If the student is negative, he/she will be permitted to return to class. Students who exhibit a fever, are vomiting and/or have a severe headache will be sent home. The school will continue its multi-layered approach to mitigate the spread of any illness in the building. If you would like to request a N95 mask(s) or a COVID test kit(s), please use this link here to notify our front office team. During the week of April 25-29th we had four confirmed cases of COVID-19 on campus. All students, parents, guardians, and siblings should continue to monitor their health for symptoms of COVID-19 and follow the guidelines from the Department of Health. If your child is ill or experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19, please keep your child at home and contact your medical provider for assistance. Please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Katie McIntyre at kmcintyre@stameliaschool.org, if you have any questions about the updated policies. Thank you and God Bless, Mrs. Katie McIntyre, Principal
