On Monday Oct. 3rd, 2022 we reverted back to pre-COVID government regulations in the cafeteria. What does this mean?
Breakfasts are no longer FREE for students in grades PK-8, the cost of a complete breakfast is $1.25 for a student and this includes: main breakfast item, juice, milk and snack.
Daily options for breakfast will include: Cold Cereal, Bagels, Poptarts or the featured items which will be:
Mondays – UBRS
Tuesdays – Bacon/Egg/Cheese Bagel Sandwich
Wednesdays – Waffles
Thursdays – Mini Cinnis
Fridays – Chocolate Chip Muffin Tops
Lunches are no longer FREE, the cost of a complete lunch is $2.75 for a student. You may apply for FREE or REDUCED lunches and breakfasts, applications are available on the school website, in the Virtual Backpack, or at the main office. Pre-K lunches are still provided in your tuition
Please let us know if you would like to put restrictions on your child's lunch accounts regarding the use of the funds that you have placed there. For example: Not allowed to purchase any snacks, or can only purchase snacks on a certain day, or no more than $1.00 per day etc.
If you purchased the pre-paid lunches for the year on your FACTS account, please note that only covers lunches for the year with $20 of a la carte money. This means if they purchase a breakfast or spend more than the $20 on a la carte or snack items you will not be covered until the end of the year and will need to replenish funds at some point.
Milk is no longer FREE – any student wishing to purchase milk will be charged $.40, if you are getting a school lunch you are entitled to 1 milk. An additional milk would cost $.40. This pertains to all children from K-8.
We now offer gluten free rolls for those individuals that might require them. Please let us know during breakfast time if you plan on needing one for that day. Any other allergies that we can help you with, please do not hesitate to contact the cafeteria to see if we can find some items for your child.
