Journals- All kids brought home their journals for different subjects, some have lots of empty pages in them. Have them use them to write in over the Summer. They can use it as a daily journal and write and draw in them to practice writing and spelling skills. All kids have a dictionary too. Write down all of the great things that you do daily. You don’t always have to spend money to have fun. Use your imagination.
Math– All kids should continue to study their multiplication/division facts during their Summer Break. I’m sure there is an fun App that your parents can find that you can play and review too.
Religion- Look for people who may need your help. Maybe call Grandma and Grandpa and see if they could use your help for a day. Maybe a neighbor who can’t do much for themselves could use a helping hand. This is a great time to look for clothes and toys that you may not use anymore that you could donate to St. Vincent de Paul or Good Will. All of these things can be done because “We need to treat others as we would want to be Treated.”
A Very Special Thank you to Mrs. Steinitz and Mrs. McCray for being our Room Moms this year.
Thank you to all Parents and Guardians of all of my students this year. Your support throughout the year was greatly appreciated.
Best of Luck to All of my students . Have a Wonderful Summer!!!!
Question of the Week: What is the first thing you will do at 11:01 a.m. on Wednesday to begin your Summer Vacation?
ATTENTION PARENTS!!!! If are you still looking for something to do with your kids that keeps their brains active that is both Fun and Educational…. We still have a few spaces left in our Summer Sparklers Program. It’s a great 3 week program that only goes from 8:30- 11:30 that all kids love each year. It is only 3 weeks for only $200.00. What a Great Deal!!!! The teacher of each grade level works on the assigned Summer Reading requirement too!
