When is Registration?

Registration takes place each January.  If the maximum classroom or school enrollment is attained, a formal waiting list will be established at the school office.

What is the size of the school and individual classes?

Currently there are two or three sections each enrolled from Pre-Kindergarten to grade eight.  There is an average of twenty students in each classroom.

What are the security measures for the school?

For security reasons, the doors of our school are locked at 7:45 a.m. every morning. All visitors, including parents, need to sign in at the office, wear a visitor’s badge when in our school for any reason and be escorted by a staff member to their destination.

Why do pupils wear uniforms?

Uniforms are important for several reasons:  they cut down on distractions, promote self-discipline, and give students a professional appearance.  Also, uniforms stress that individuality and self-expression are not determined by designer clothing or by fashion fads.

Is there an afterschool program?

Yes!  Our school offers an afterschool program, available to any student in Full Day Pre-K4 through Grade 6.  Students are supervised in various indoor and outdoor activities: homework, crafts, computers, snack, etc… from 2:30 – 5:30 PM.

Why Catholic education?

As a Catholic School, our primary emphasis is to teach the doctrine of the Catholic faith and to help the students to experience their faith as an integral part of their daily life.   We respond to the fourfold dimension of Catholic Education: message, community, service and worship.

Are breakfast and lunch provided?

The school cafeteria provides a variety of lunch choices daily at a reasonable price.  For those who qualify, a reduced-price or free lunch is available.   The cafeteria also offers breakfast each day from 7:15 – 7:45 AM.

What time can students arrive?

School doors are open at 7:15 AM.  Students wait in the cafeteria until the first bell at 7:30, when they can enter their classrooms.  A second bell at 7:45 signals the beginning of morning prayer.
